When relationships are strained it is important to address hurts and disappointments as soon as possible. It’s my experience that we all strive to find increasing love and joy in our relationships. Love is given and received. Without this being as rewarding as one hopes, life can feel flat.
Communication and conflict resolution skills are critical components of relating to others as well as spoken and unspoken expectations. Boundaries are often required to be understood and implemented.

I believe we learn and grown in relationship and are able to learn much about ourselves in connection with others. There is a definite upside to the relationship and understanding you have of yourself when you take the time to learn intimately with and about your partner.
